Our Story
The Velvet Table started as a dream shared over a late-night bottle of wine in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen. Founders Elena Marchetti and James Okoye believed fine dining didn’t need white tablecloths — just great ingredients, bold flavours, and a space that feels like home.
Eight years later, we still source directly from upstate farms, cure our own charcuterie, and bake bread every morning. The menu changes with the seasons; the welcome never does.
